The Poet & The Artist

by | 5. March 2020

This is the real life fairy tale about how the creation of a book never seen before began a few years back

On a sunny spring day in Copenhagen I meet Julie for the first time for at cup of coffee and lot’s of small talk.
Julie lives in an other part of Denmark and after connection and a few text messages on social media it was now time to meet in real life.

Sitting here outdoor wrapped in blankets to keep warm, listening to the city waking up again after a long cold winter and with a hot cup of coffee in our hands the stories of our lives and passions were shared.

After a short time e realized that together with the combination of each of our talents we could …

And so it all started…

Julie as a poet with words and me as a poet with thread we took the first steps in to the world of
H.C. Andersens old fairy tale.
We jumped into the waves and visited the realm of the mermaids…

Word by word
&
Stitch by stitch

a new book with one of the best love stories ever was coming to life again in a modern and poetical design.

But as all other fairy tales it has been a journey with unpredictable challenges along the way, times with sleepless nights and days with too many task outside our comfort zones…
The magic to solve the problems we had to find inside ourselves and by working close together

As you already know the book was launched before last Christmas and that was the beginning of a new chapter in our story – now the time has come to spread the word all around the world and see what kind of magic can be created.

Today Julie and I finally had the change to meet up again for more coffee, conversation and brainstorming about our next book and other lovely ideas…and of course we was located in real fairy tale surroundings and felt a bit like princesses…
💫💫💫

I wish you a wonderful day filled with crafting and good stories

With love and gratitude
